Junior League of Tucson
Our league’s issue area is Menstrual Equity and Period Product Access. 2:5 menstruators struggle to afford period products and 1:3 low-income menstruators report missing school/work/other events due to lack of period product access. So, this February we are hosting our second annual Menstrual Equity. Period Product Drive, where we will be collecting menstrual & incontinence products to donate to our community.
Our donations will be distributed to non-profit organizations in Southern Arizona, including:
-The Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona
- Youth on Their Own
- Community Food Bank
- Interfaith Community Services
- Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse
- Sister Jose Women’s Center
- The Boys & Girls Club of Southern Arizona
- CODAC
- And more!
